In the Bay Area, many are familiar with Gail Skoff's photographic work for the cookbooks Chez Panisse Cooking by Paul Bertoli and Lulu's Provencal Table by Richard Olney, as well as for her photographs for Kermit Lynch, wine merchant.

Skoff is also recognized for her hand-painted photographs and intimate photography of plants and fruit.

Ms. Skoff is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. Her work is included in major collections throughout the United States and France.
