Using
a handheld flashlight, Allen introduces the simple element of
line into his photographs as a reminder of the landscape's volume.
Allen says:
I
have become interested in the relationship between personal movement
and landscape. Not until you walk through a landscape do you get
a feeling for the depth and reality of a place.
Stuart
Allen's photographs, site-specific sculptures and kites have been
exhibited throughout the United States and abroad.
